What You Will Do:
Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Sr Manager of eCommerce & Supply Chain will lead our fast-growing online consumables & merchandise shop to become a $10M+ business in the next 12 months. The Sr Manager, eCommerce & Supply Chain will work directly with the Founder/CEO to select new products to expand to the eCommerce offering for Faster Way Coaches & Members, as well as the general public. This individual will be responsible to work with suppliers to get the very best cost & quality for every SKU and to ensure a flawless fulfillment and delivery to the end customer. Using insights & analytics, the Sr Manager, eCommerce & Supply Chain will consistently optimize the business for continued growth and becoming the absolute best brand in the market. If not local, the candidate must be willing to relocate to and work in the Largo, Florida office.
More Specifically, You Will:
Source:
Identify and manage the best contract manufacturers/suppliers, based on price, quality, performance and service levels
Own the quality assurance (QA) process for all consumables products coming into the supply chain
Coordinate ordering (placing Purchase Orders), delivery (confirming ASN & receiving), and invoicing processes from start to finish
Track:
Build and maintain the forecast and inventory projections to meet market demand and avoid product stockouts
Keep clear records of all orders, related financial metrics and supply chain KPI’s
Solve:
Provide thought leadership in understanding, anticipating and identifying manufacturing or supply issues and developing solutions to overcome these roadblocks
Execute on financial and operational goals set by senior leadership
Assess and analyze data to optimize the eCommerce and supply chain business for continued growth and world-class customer experience
Communicate:
Coordinate with marketing to align supply with required demand for any and all campaigns and promotions
Communicate with department heads on eCommerce goals, progress and any related changes/modifications
Present recommendations and performance results to the executive team
Who You Are:
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has the ability to work in a fast paced environment, think strategically while paying attention to financial and operational details, proactively solve problems and get results. The candidate should possess a proven record of success building and managing an eCommerce line of business and related supply chain requirements. This individual will consistently challenge Faster Way to grow and innovate its consumables and merchandise products as they align with the mission of the company.
Ideal candidate has:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in eCommerce sales, forecasting, and buying
Experience managing, tracking inventory across the supply chain - both in spreadsheets and in systems
Expertise working in Shopify and related apps, including reCharge
Ability to negotiate with key suppliers/vendors to always earn the best price and get the highest quality products
Strong technical, analytical, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
World-class organizational skills to track and report on key metrics - as well as be able to get to every individual order at all times
An ownership mindset and seeks out autonomy to drive results, takes full accountability for mistakes, and constantly strives to get better
Ability to understand key drivers of the business and how eCommerce fits within the overall goals of the organization
A team player mentality and is comfortable operating in a fluid, fast-paced, “start-up” environment
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred
