POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Vice President of Programs and Coach Community, the Director of Coach Community provides strategic leadership and vision for the certified coaching and affiliate network. The director is charged with leading the certified coaching program and a team of professionals towards achieving program goals. Candidate must be willing to relocate; if not local, and work in the Largo, FL offices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides leadership for the FASTer Way certified coach community to achieve short and long term goals
Oversees new coach recruitment including new coach orientation and success accelerator
Prepares and oversees weekly coach training sessions
Prepares and leads annual coach conference (organization, recruitment, budget)
Manages contractual process for certified coaches and affiliates
Fosters an effective team:
Models integrity in order to foster an environment of excellence
Facilitates dialogue and discussion to address strategic and tactical issues
Attracts and retains professional support staff
Motivates the team leaders to achieve at their greatest potential through encouragement, modeling, and feedback
In coordination with the director of marketing, develops and implements effective back office support systems for certified coaches
Identifies opportunities for program enhancement and leads change where needed
Oversees administrative functions such as creating and updating job descriptions, overseeing the evaluation process, facilitating meetings, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and operational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
Bachelor’s degree
Wellness industry credentials preferred
Proven track record of success in a leadership role
Confident, driven and dynamic leader
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to engage and collaborate with clients and team members
Demonstrates the ability to think and work independently with limited supervision
