We are looking for a Senior Applications Engineer Manager help us further expand the movement and support us during a period of explosive growth. Reporting to the Mobile Applications Manager, candidates will enjoy solving tough problems and working with new technologies. In this role individuals should not be shy about sharing your ideas and be obsessive about user experience and high quality.

Essential Functions

The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and testing new products and platforms associated with the organization’s mobile application product. In this role you will be expected to work with a team of engineers in a fast-paced and changing environment to adapt our mobile application product to the needs of our end users. This level is distinguished from other roles but exercises no or limited supervisory responsibilities. This role requires a high level of specialized knowledge, abilities, skills, and experience and often exercises independent judgement in the performance of their duties. In this role the incumbent will be responsible for formulation of recommendations consistent with directives, policies, standards, and regulations associated with the companies’ mobile applications. To be successful in this role the individual should be comfortable working within a team, have keen eye for detail, and have excellent organizational skills. The role is further responsible for following policies and procedures related to the application quality standards and testing. 

 

  • Leads in the configuration, maintenance, enhancement and support of commercial software packages, internally developed applications, and web services.

  • Leads in the customization and addition of new features to commercial software packages and internally developed applications according to end user requests.

  • Leads the maintenance of day-to-day operations of various applications.

  • Leads in designing and building new applications based on customer's requirements and specifications.

  • Writes and performs tests for applications, fixes problems as they arise, and assists with product launches.

  • Provides technical support and troubleshoots problems related to applications.

  • Writes technical documentation and uses best development practices regarding version control and testing.

  • Performs software upgrades and keeps track of software licensing.

  • Assists with managing vender relationships including scoping of application services and review of deliverables.

  • Hands on experience with Javascript, Python, React-native, Net Core, AWS

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated organizational proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects

  • BS Degree in Computer / Networking or relevant experiences accepted

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in the IT field

  • Extensive knowledge of software and its application

  • Experience in cloud-based computing environments

  • Experience in package upgrades & conversions

  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader

  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to engage and collaborate with clients and team members

  • Demonstrated ability to think and work independently with limited supervision

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple objectives

  • Effective interpersonal skills to be capable of working with all levels of office personnel

  • Goal and deadline oriented

  • Dependable

 

SKILLS/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have experience with:

  • CMS management

  • CRM management

  • Data management

  • Zapier

  • Google Suite

  • Slack

  • Squarespace/Wordpress (or similar development/website software)

  • Ideal candidates will have experience with:

  • Post Affiliate Pro or similar software

  • SamCart or similar e-commerce system

  • ActiveCampaign or similar ESP

  • Kajabi or similar software
