What You Will Do:

Our ideal candidate has a solid digital marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to end, inducing paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques. They should have thorough knowledge of how to run a social media campaign and in depth understanding of web analytics. The Vice President of Digital Marketing will have a proven track record of leading performance marketers at a rapidly scaling organization to deliver on aggressive company business goals.          

Essential Functions

The VP of Digital Marketing will build and manage promotions, advertising campaigns, and the overall digital marketing plan for our organization. Casting strategic vision in order to develop brands, optimize pre-launch marketing strategies, and monitor key data points like audience growth and brand awareness are key responsibilities of this role. The position will work with other senior leaders within the organization to coordinate marketing efforts, oversee marketing teams, and ensure that the company has all of the assets necessary for each advertising campaign. Occasionally this role may be asked to arrange for deals and partnerships with other companies, provide input on our corporate charitable actions, and decide which customer leads are worth pursuing. Overall the role will be expected to lead digital research in pursuit of valuable insights to drive strategic and tactical planning for existing clients and new business efforts. Develop strategies and tactics for integrated, multi-channel marketing programs designed to achieve brands’ business objectives, for both existing and prospective clients.

  • Serve as the digital expert on multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Account, Creative, UX, Technology, Media, Medical) supporting existing clients as well as new business pitches

  • Lead multi-channel marketing (MCM) planning efforts, consisting of: discovery, customer segmentation strategy, messaging strategy, content strategy, channel planning, communication mapping, and measurement planning

  • Develop, refine, and present innovative digital ideas/programs at new business pitches

  • Help Account teams identify key opportunities for growth; develop, refine, and present innovative digital ideas/programs to existing clients

  • Oversee the execution of sold digital projects/programs from conception through execution to ensure strategic alignment remains intact

  • Drive digital analytics practice at the agency by clearly defining objectives and KPIs, generating reports, providing performance analysis, and developing recommendations for optimization

  • Provide ongoing digital thought leadership across the agency network and existing client base, and infuse strong digital thinking across all agency roles and processes.

  • Keep the agency and its clients abreast of emerging digital trends/technologies and innovative digital marketing programs, both within and outside of healthcare

  • Provide sound business justification to current and prospective clients for investment in digital marketing (e.g., based on market trends, audience insights, program analytics)

  • Develop, implement, and evangelize digital marketing best practices across the agency

  • Design and lead digital training and workshops, both internally and with client

  • Develop and publish POV material on relevant digital marketing topics

  • Experience with python, Microsoft BI.

  • Deliver positive ROI for lead conversion into clients. With at least a 3x ROI vs LTV

  • Possess analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets

  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization for digital marketing, SEO

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and operational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects

  • Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, marketing director or other senior role

  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords

  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques

  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader

  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to engage and collaborate with clients and team members

  • Demonstrated ability to think and work independently with limited supervision

  • Effective interpersonal skills to be capable of working with all levels of office personnel

  • Goal and deadline oriented

  • BS Degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant experiences accepted

SKILLS/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have experience with:

  • CMS management

  • CRM management

  • Data management

  • Zapier

  • Google Suite

  • Slack

  • Squarespace/Wordpress (or similar development/website software)

  • Ideal candidates will have experience with:

  • Post Affiliate Pro or similar software

  • SamCart or similar e-commerce system

  • ActiveCampaign or similar ESP

  • Kajabi or similar software
